Here I Am

So here I am in DC... getting settled in and absolutely loving it. I found a fantastic apartment that has everything I was looking for, including a nice view for me to enjoy with my morning tea.

I went to the Coldplay concert last night (I can't even remember the last concert I went to), and it was amazing. Here are some pictures.

And then they played a couple songs in the audience.



Also, the opening act, Santogold, was really cool! I'm definitely going to get her album. She's from Brooklyn and her music is a genre-bending mix of punk, reggae, indie rock, and electro.

I LOVE live music too... and Coldplay is killer in concert! Glad to see you're settling in to your new life in D.C. --- I arrived back in NYC this afternoon and thought of you. My five months of travel have officially come to an end and I'm sooooo glad I did it. I know you feel the same...
